Life Has Been Busy!

Sorry I haven't posted in a long time. We have been very busy. My sisters due date was yesterday and no action. We have walked her clear across the state it feels like. The little guy is still hanging in there. It would figure with the first grandson in the family he would be stubborn. I am off this week for fall break. Yeah!!! I decided to make the baby a knitted blanket from Aunt Leslie. It has now become a personal mission not to let it defeat me. I put a sail boat in it. Now I am working on the border. I will complete it. As soon as he is here I will post a pic of him. Until then......

2 years old

This is Adaline Angelique Tarleton at 1 day old. She was born 8 weeks early. Looking at her then and at her now it is hard to believe this little 5 lb baby is the same person.

Here is Adaline at her first birthday party. Happily she has shown no signs of being effected by being premature. She does have a very sensitive stomach due to the fact she could not digest food when she was born.

Now here is my bundle of energy at 2 years old. When did this happen. It seems like only yesterday I was praying we could leave the hospital and now you would never know she was premature except she is a little on the short side. Of course that may be genetic. We are going to have a little party for her on the 4th of July.
Happy Birthday Adaline!

Moomaw Abducted

23 months old and 7 yrs old
Missing since Tuesday
Last seen in company of Moomaw

I did not realize how much my life actually revolved around my children until my mother decided to take them for 2 weeks while I finished the school year. I come home and am lonely since my husband works late. My house has stayed clean(I wonder why) so I don't need to do housework. Don't me wrong it is nice to have a break. Them spending time with family is one of the main reasons we moved back to the states but I just want them back at my house. So I will sit out this Moomaw abduction and enjoy another year until the next one. So for anyone who thinks they would like a long break from the kids just think of how much you do with them before you let it happen.

I'll give it a try.

I have watched a friend of mine do a blog for a long time now. I have been able to watch her children grow and have felt like I haven't missed that much because I can check in with them on a daily basis. So I have decided to give this a try and let my friends and family experience the same thing.
These two are my life. Jocelyn is seven years old. She is full of energy and loves to cut, glue, color and draw. If it is art she wants to do it. Adaline will be two at the end of June. She loves to do whatever her big sister is doing. Here they are waiting for bed time and as a calm down activity have decided to color a picture for our art gallery(some might call this the refrigerator). Refrigerator art will always be my favorite. I actually have a finger painting that Jocelyn did when she was two. I can't remember her fingers being that little. So I think Adaline will make her finger painting this weekend to put in the scrapbook.
